An advocacy organization with a focus on foreign affairs and national headquarters offices in Washington, DC is looking to engage a video and motion graphics-savvy Post Production Manager in a full-time, temporary role that will start in August 2024 and continue for eight (8) months, through March 2025.

We are also recruiting for this role at the Post Production Coordinator level. We're using two application flows to consider potential candidates with a broad range of relevant experience. The person in this role will to run the day-to-day operations of an in-house Post Production team, which consists of full-time staff video editors and a motion graphics artist, as well as a rotating bench of contract editors that are brought in on a per-project basis. The Post Team is responsible for creating content for several channels, which encompass different editing styles: social media, short-form documentaries, news-style productions from an in-house studio, and visuals to accompany presentations at events. This role plays a critical role in workload planning for the team and ensuring projects are launched properly, are running on time, delivered on schedule, and that additional help is brought in when needed.

QUICK OVERVIEW:

- Post Production Coordinator or Manager position

- Hours will fluctuate but expect an average of 40 hours/week

- Guaranteed, static weekly rate up to $2200 regardless of actual hours worked

- Hybrid role with the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays

- Employer is located near Capitol Hill and close to three Metrorail stops in NW, DC

- Starting August 2024 and continuing through March 2025 (8 months)
